My, what a disappointment, the expectations were sky high, but what Steve Jobs and Apple delivered was a me-too product. Just as I thought yesterday, there is no real use case that makes it a must have product. Many pundits are calling it the "Death of the PC", but I feel that this is the nail on the coffin of tablets. This is a device category that has never got going and many were hoping that Apple would come and resurrect it. But now, people will see them as something that not even Apple could save.
To people thinking of getting one, I'd say just close your eyes and buy a netbook. It costs half as much, has much more processing power than this and has an operating system that is capable of doing much more than this tablet can ever dream of. And with the money left over, buy an ipod touch to get access to most of the apps that the tablet will get.
